For hardcore applications, the CavFab Flipped 1 Ton Aluminum JK Drag Link moves the drag link to the top of the knuckle, improving steering geometry and reducing bump steer. Designed for larger tires and off-road abuse, this upgrade requires enlarging the passenger knuckle hole to 7/8″ to install the included taper sleeve. Constructed from 1.5″ 7075 aluminum, or “memory metal,” it flexes back to its original shape after impacts. Paired with oversized 1-ton tie rod ends for durability and longevity, this drag link delivers tight, responsive steering on-road and reliable strength off-road. NOTES
- We recommend this kit be installed with aftermarket wheels, as factory 17″ JK wheels do not have sufficient backspacing for the larger rod ends to clear. A wheel with 4.75″ backspacing or numerically less works well. Factory wheels with a 1″ or larger wheel spacer also suffice.
