PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The factory JK steering system falls short when it comes to handling larger tires and off-road abuse. The CavFab 1 Ton Aluminum Flipped Steering Kit is an upgrade for Dana 30 and 44 axles, moving the drag link over the knuckle for improved ground clearance and optimized steering geometry. Built from 1.5″ 7075 aluminum—known as ‘memory metal’ for its ability to flex back after impacts—this system is designed to endure the toughest trails. With oversized 1-ton tie rod ends for added durability and tight, responsive steering, this kit eliminates common weak points in your factory setup. Backed by the CavFab NO BS Warranty, it’s the ultimate upgrade for off-road performance and reliability.

NOTES
- Take care to not over grease the tie rod ends—over greasing will damage the boot. Torn boots are not a warranty item.
- Stabilizer bracket is sold separately and is required if you wish to utilize a stabilizer.
- We recommend this kit be installed with aftermarket wheels. Factory 17″ JK wheels do not have sufficient backspacing to clear the larger rod ends. A wheel with 4.75″ backspacing or numerically less works well. Factory wheels with 1″+ spacers also work.
- This is our FULL steering system and includes both the Tie Rod & Drag Link. Components are also available separately. We offer this kit with a flipped drag link option and in steel if aluminum isn’t required.
